WHAT IS LOVELESS AROMANTICISM
Loveless aromanticism is an identity on the aromantic spectrum.
One that feels disconnected with the idea of love.
Where one is not able to feel love, doubt that they feel love or rejects the idea of feeling love. Loveless aromantics are often forcibly disconnected from the concept due to the fact that "love" is often synonymous with "romance".
They may feel uncomfortable with the concept, or personally believe that it is not relevant and/or important to them.
While it may look like we "love" the people around us or "love" our hobbies, we do not "love" them. We show mutual compassion, care, respect, enjoyment and other emotions, but not "love".
That does not mean that we do not care about anyone and that we're all emotionless and uncaring. We aren't. Some loveless aromantics may feel other types of attraction, but we do not call it "love".
